Function: Originally a festive garment, worn for fairs, weddings, or religious holidays; today, a heritage-inspired statement piece reintroduced into modern fashion.
- Fabric: Densely woven black wool (postav), structured but soft.
- Cut: Straight silhouette, hip-length, set-in sleeves.
- Collar: High standing collar — an element borrowed from 19th-century military dress and late 19th–early 20th century urban jackets.
- Closure: Central fastening with looped frog closures formed by the soutache itself, echoing traditional husar uniforms.
- Finishing: Continuous decorative edging along hems and seams — both aesthetic and structural, reinforcing the jacket’s precision.
Atelier Lead Time & Delivery
Production is carried out by independent artisans whose work we retail.
The artisan is responsible for production timelines and workmanship; quoted lead times are estimates and may vary with workshop capacity, hand processes, and materials.
Natural variations are inherent to handcrafted pieces and are not defects.
We provide coordination, updates, and quality review, and remain your primary point of contact for service and after-care, subject to applicable consumer law.
Upon your order, the item enters artisan workshop schedule. Hand-cut, stitched, craft and softly pressed, it requires 14-30 business days. We then dispatch by Express courier — typically 1–3 days within the EU and 3–5 days worldwide. Custom lengths may add +2–3 business days.
Your order enters an artisan schedule. At times, the atelier itself dispatches the parcel; in those instances, the artisan is the responsible shipper, and we steward the process—coordinating updates, providing tracking, and advocating with the carrier until delivery.
