 Technical Description

Material: Fine handwoven cotton fabric (*pânză topită*), silk threads for embroidery

Color: Warm natural ivory white

Embroidery: White-on-white, stitched with lustrous mercerized cotton thread

Technique: Traditional geometric embroidery (rhombic pattern), hand-stitched and complemented with ajour and inserted lace

Estimated time of work: 2–3 months depending on the complexity of the embroidery

Note: Entirely hand-sewn following the traditional domestic art methods from Breaza. The embroidery preserves the proportions and geometric motifs of interwar blouses, reinterpreted in the 1970s.
