Braille embroidered mini dress
Details
The long Braille dress in white features a loose, voluminous silhouette crafted from 5 meters of lightweight linen and half a meter of heavier linen. This fabric combination allows artisans to create a flowing, airy shape while preventing transparency. The skirt comprises three layers with a short lining and decorative embroidery pockets on the sides of the top layer. Each layer is shaped to add volume and adorned with hand stitching, with the top two layers enhanced by double pleats. The bodice has two layers, with the collar and belt embellished with high-quality black beads. The sleeve edges display multiple pleats and shimmering hand-sewn stitches. The Braille embroidery motif blends progressive machine embroidery and manual techniques, including hand stitching and bead application. It encodes the Braille symbols for Water, Fire, Air, Earth, and Spirit using three types of thread.
