At BLOUSE ROUMAINE SHOP, our mission has always been to protect and promote authentic Romanian craftsmanship. Now, more than ever, we need your support to help save a traditional handweaving atelier. Currently, the atelier is facing financial challenges, with an unsold stock valued at €40,000, and without assistance, it risks closing its doors.

Our business model has always been simple and sustainable: we connect buyers directly with local artisans, eliminating intermediaries and reducing waste, as each product is made-to-order. However, to truly support this atelier and the artisans who pour their hearts into every piece, we’re ready to take the next step.

With this campaign, we aim to purchase the entire stock, which includes handcrafted items for women, children, and home decor pieces. By doing so, the cooperative will gain the necessary capital to continue paying artisans according to new wage scales and afford raw materials at current market prices, which have risen significantly.
